We teach you how to use technology to improve patient outcomes, make better business decisions, develop software or analyze business practices to enhance productivity. You will be challenged to develop new ways to think about business and information management.

Dakota State University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools through the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) process.  Programmatic accreditation (specialized or professional accreditation) has been awarded to selected programs within DSU as follows:  business programs are accredited by Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), health information management programs are accredited by Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM), and business and computer education programs that are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

Daugaard signs bill on Madison/DSU day at capitol

Attendees at Madison/DSU Hosts the Legislature Day on January 30 got to see government in action, as they watched Governor Dennis Daugaard sign House Bill 1057. This legislation allows for the demolition of DSU’s Lowry Hall and construction of the Madison Cyber Labs, or MadLabs.
