Tuition and Payment

Payments to fit your life.

A distance degree from DSU is a great investment and it’s billed by the hour. That means you’ll always only pay for the amount of classes you’re able to take.

Some schools will charge you a half-time or full-time tuition rate with the expectation that you’ll take up to a certain number of credit hours each semester. We take a different approach. With our distance program, you’ll never have to worry about how you’re going to pay for and fit 12 credit hours into your life. You’ll never pay a bulk tuition rate for more classes than you can take. Instead, you’ll pay as you go.

The self-support rate: Only pay for what you use.

Costs for on-campus courses are a combination of tuition and administrative fees. The self-support rate is a little different. It’s a cost-per-credit hour rate with very few administrative fees and no fees for services you do not use. Meaning, we don’t bill you for the gym you can’t get to, the activities you don't attend or cleaning the classroom you don't have class in. As with most tuition rates, books and additional course materials are not included in this rate. With the self-support rate, you’re just paying the costs involved in taking the class.
