 About the installation:

Students in the Honors 2-D design course have researched elements of water this semester and created visual ecological projects that will be displayed in the Writing Center (Beadle Hall 112) starting in December 2017.  Over the semester, students learned that water can store information—not chemically, but in its cluster structure—about where it has been and the conditions to which it has been exposed. From taste-testing bottled waters to studying area lake water and the impact of magnetic fields, students discovered that images, words and intentions all have power. While the actual eco-projects are reflected by the students themselves, the physical artifacts are framed monotype prints displayed in Beadle Hall. This art stages student impressions, perceptions and beliefs about water through both images and words. Many even collaborated with staff in the DSU Writing Center, where their prints will refresh the walls for its grand opening.
