Dakota State University participates in the South Dakota Board of Regents' Campus Alert System. These messages include severe weather, campus closures and other emergency-related alerts. We want our students and employees to be both informed and safe.
The contact methods are:

- Campus Assigned Email
- Secondary Email
New students and employees will receive an email from Everbridge.net that will allow them to sign-up for this free service. Your DSU mail account (i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com) will be automatically selected to receive alerts. You can tailor your alerts to any combination of the above methods. We want to make sure we are sending you emergency alerts in the way that works best for you.
