Intramural activities are voluntary sports programs; individuals participate at their own risk. All participants are responsible for their own health and safety. All individual who desire to participate in the Intramural activities should, for their own protection, have a physical examination before participating. However, each participant has complete responsibility for getting the physical examination, in order to ascertain whether or not his/her own personal health status is such that it will allow them to participated in the various Intramural activities without endangering their health and well-being.

Dakota State University does not provide health or accident protection for participants, and the University and any of its employees are not liable for injuries which might be sustained while the individual is participating. If insurance protection is desired, the participant must provide it themselves.
