Biography
Youssef Harrath came to Dakota State University (DSU) in July 2023. Before joining DSU, he was Associate/Assistant Professor at University of Bahrain for 13 years, University of Hail, Saudi Arabia, for five years, High Institute of Applied Computer Sciences of Lorraine, Nancy-France for one year, and National Institute of Applied Science, Rouen-France for one year.
Dr. Harrath served as a secretary of the Execution Committee of IEEE Bahrain Computer Society between 2018 and 2020 and became an IEEE Senior member in July 2019.
Dr. Harrath speaks three languages: Arabic (native language), French, and English. He has visited 18 countries in 4 different continents.
He is actively involved in social activities and community services such as organizing soccer tournaments over the last 20 years, gathering parties for international faculty members and their families, and social media discussion groups.
