Biography
Kyle Korman is an Assistant Professor in The Beacom College of Computer & Cyber Sciences. His courses currently focus on cybersecurity topics such as intrusion detection, incident response, network monitoring, and systems and network administration. As a teacher, he aims to engage students by using realistic but approachable environments.
He also has a strong interest in Windows- and Linux-based environments. Outside of teaching, Korman has experience in both private and public industries in the areas of cybersecurity research, prototyping, and broad infrastructure administration. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science from DSU.
