Biography
Dr. Brenda Merkel is an assistant professor of management who joined DSU in August 2022. She received her DBA in management from Anderson University, Indiana. Dr. Merkel has worked as a registered respiratory therapist (RRT) for 30+ years in hospital settings and applies that knowledge to the management classroom. Her research interests include strategic management, organizational behavior, healthcare, and organizational culture.
