The Department of Marketing & Communications at Dakota State University is responsible for media relations, publications, photography, advertising, social media and the web content for the University.
We facilitate interviews, place news releases and features in media outlets, generate news tips, and arrange advertising. Our department is also responsible for creating a clear and consistent brand image of the University which includes logo usage and identity standards.

Correct usage of the logo and all identifying marks of the University is maintained by the Department of Marketing & Communications. For proper guidance on logo usage, please see the Graphic Standards Manual.
If you are an outside organization wishing to use the DSU logo, please contact our office for permission and for obtaining the proper files.
All licensing for Dakota State University logos is completed through the DSU Bookstore. Please email Patti Weber at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (605) 256-5238 to begin the application process.
Press releases are submitted by faculty, staff, students, departments and offices of DSU to the Marketing & Communications Department for distribution. All requests for interviews with faculty, staff or students should be coordinated through the Marketing & Communications Department.

All advertising, marketing and/or external communications desired by faculty/staff, students, departments and offices of DSU must be coordinated with the Marketing & Communications Department.
