It's no secret that today's businesses rely on technology. To really succeed in business today, you’ll need business fundamentals and a command of technology.

You’ll learn all this and more at DSU with our Business Technology degree (offered on campus and online).  You’ll develop an understanding of the infusion of innovation in modern business practices. In addition to an understanding of the different technologies used in Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Management; you’ll have an understanding of the technologies that span a corporation and be prepared to lead technical projects. It’s a great combination of Business Management and Information Technology.

Benefits of studying business technology at DSU

Business technology classes are known for their high-tech, personal touch. The student–faculty ratio in most classes is just 20:1. You’ll find professors who are involved with technology research and business ventures outside the classroom. Plus, DSU brings you in contact with the latest and greatest technology so you can enter the workforce fully prepared.

At DSU, you can make connections and practice your skills in an internship at leading businesses. Due to the high demand for DSU grads, most students find their first job after graduation without ever leaving campus.

Outside of class, there are a number of student clubs and activities to join, including Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) Business Club, Computer Club, Gaming Club, and the Kappa Sigma Iota (KSI) and Delta Mu Delta Honorary Societies. Scholarships and grants are also available for business technology students.

ACBSP LogoOur bachelor of business administration program is one of the few in South Dakota accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). This means that in addition to meeting all evaluation criteria and curriculum standards, DSU is also involved in the creation of innovative programs. This additional accreditation means your degree will be recognized wherever you go.
