I am a senior member of the Computer Science faculty, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses.  My current teaching is focused in the areas of Program Languages, Operating Systems, and Advanced Database topics.  I also serve on several university and college committees along with working with students as academic advisor and graduate project advisor.

Barbara teaches for the College of Business and Information Systems at University Center in the area of information systems, computer science, and networking.  Other areas of work include web and database design for small companies and local users, and advising online and University Center students.

A South Dakota native, Dr. Pauli has been associated with DSU since 1998. He is a Professor in the Beacom College of Computer and Cyber Sciences where he coordinates the Cyber Security Doctoral program. He is a fan of the DSU Trojan athletic programs, and is fortunate that he gets to work with his wife , Crystal (Dean of the College of Education), son Josh (Professor in the Beacom College), and his daughter Tara (adjunct faculty in the College of BIS). He also has another son, Jeremy, who is a data architect for General Motors. Wayne is proud of the fact that all three of his children as well as himself have graduate degrees from DSU.

Dr. Streff is professor and director of the FinTech Cyber Lab, which is part of the Madison Cyber Labs (MadLabs), an interdisciplinary security and privacy research center at Dakota State University. He has extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, including banking, insurance, and credit operations. Dr. Streff is founder and strategist of SBS Cybersecurity, a security consulting, education and auditing firm focused on improving security in community banks and credit unions across the country. Dr. Streff is founder and past president of InfraGard - South Dakota, a partnership program between private industry and the U.S. government. Dr. Streff has testified several times to congressional committees in the field and in Washington DC, helping lawmakers understand the security issues which need attention in the banking sector. He speaks nationally on security issues and solutions relevant to small and medium-sized banks, and has worked with Inc. Magazine, Forbes, CNN, National Public Radio, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal to communicate his ideas.

Dr. Josh Stroschein teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in cyber security with a focus on malware analysis, reverse engineering and software exploitation. His research interests include malware analysis and software exploitation. Outside of DSU, you can find Josh providing training at such venues as BlackHat USA, DerbyCon, Hack-In-The-Box and ToorCon.
