Dr. Klungseth teaches undergraduate courses in both the Exercise Science program and the Physical Education program. His research areas of interest are in the fields of: physical education and exercise assessment technologies; active academics; and physical education pedagogy.

Scott's research interests include: Physiological factors of sports performance and sport specialization. He is an active member of the following organizations: American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and the Northland chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine.
