Dr. Michael Gaylor teaches all of the chemistry courses, including advanced courses in Astrochemistry, Astrobiology, Chemical Origins of Life, Marine Science and Ecotoxicology. His research interests include ecological impacts of anthropogenic chemicals, analytical methods development, supercritical fluids and prebiotic emergence of biomolecules. Dr. Gaylor maintains a highly interdisciplinary undergraduate research program, with his students publishing in respected scientific journals and attending top graduate and professional schools.
