I am a senior member of the Computer Science faculty, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses.  My current teaching is focused in the areas of Program Languages, Operating Systems, and Advanced Database topics.  I also serve on several university and college committees along with working with students as academic advisor and graduate project advisor.

Dr. Josh Pauli teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in cyber security and has published over 30 papers related to software security. His work also includes invited presentations from DEFCON, Black Hat Briefings, and The National Security Agency (NSA). He is the Director of the DSU Cyber Corps Scholarship Program and the Principal for DSU’s Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations, which is designated by the NSA.

Dr. Streff is professor and director of the FinTech Cyber Lab, which is part of the Madison Cyber Labs (MadLabs), an interdisciplinary security and privacy research center at Dakota State University. He has extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, including banking, insurance, and credit operations. Dr. Streff is founder and strategist of SBS Cybersecurity, a security consulting, education and auditing firm focused on improving security in community banks and credit unions across the country. Dr. Streff is founder and past president of InfraGard - South Dakota, a partnership program between private industry and the U.S. government. Dr. Streff has testified several times to congressional committees in the field and in Washington DC, helping lawmakers understand the security issues which need attention in the banking sector. He speaks nationally on security issues and solutions relevant to small and medium-sized banks, and has worked with Inc. Magazine, Forbes, CNN, National Public Radio, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal to communicate his ideas.

Dr. Wang received his B.S. and M.S.E degrees in Computer Science from Wuhan University (China) in 1995 and 1998. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2007. His research focuses on security and privacy issues in wireless networks, mobile devices, cloud, and Internet of Things. His research is supported by both the National Science Foundation and the state of South Dakota.
