Dakota State University students walking around campus

Preparation + opportunity = success

That's the DSU equation. We're a four-year university with nationally recognized programs, cutting-edge facilities, and the brightest thinkers. But we're also a tight-knit, inclusive community. Small class sizes mean hands-on training and individualized attention. All this with an affordable, public school price that's among the best values in the region.

We aim to keep our students happy and healthy through our Student Health Office located on campus. Students have unlimited visits to the health nurse for minor illnesses, minor injuries, routine allergy shots, and educational materials. If further diagnosis or care is required, the nurse will refer you to a physician at Madison Regional Health for one of your two free diagnostic office visits.

Please note: Health insurance is strongly recommended and our student health program is not replacement for health insurance.
