Biography

I am an Associate Professor in The Beacom College of Computer and Cyber Sciences at Dakota State University (DSU). Before joining DSU, I was an Assistant then an Associate Professor at Jordan University of Science and Technology since 2008.

I received the B.S. degree with first-class honors in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Irbid, Jordan, in 2000; and the M.S. and the Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, in 2004 and 2008, respectively.

I made research visits to the Department of Industrial Information and Control Systems, KTH---Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden (Summers of 2011 and 2013); to the Department of Distributed Systems, Institute for Parallel and Distributed Systems, University of Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany (Summer of 2012); and to the Department of Electronic Systems (Wireless Communication Networks Section), Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark (Summer of 2019).

In my current profession, I am involved in academic activities: teaching and mentoring, and conducting research.
