Biography

Jason Mixon is an Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science in The Beacom College of Computer & Cyber Sciences. He teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels focused on artificial intelligence and AI tools and frameworks.

Mixon brings industry experience in data management and governance, previously working for Fortune 10 companies as well as public/private partnerships architecting enterprise data solutions. His research focuses on generative AI and federated learning and he is currently finishing a PhD from DSU researching computer vision data set augmentation using latent diffusion models.
