The Literacy Instructional Coaching Graduate Certificate, offered collaboratively by Dakota State University and South Dakota State University, is designed for K-12 educators looking to enhance their expertise in evidence-based literacy instruction and coaching strategies. This graduate-level, 18-credit certificate equips teachers and literacy leaders with the tools they need to support and mentor fellow educators, drive literacy improvement, and ensure student success using Science of Reading aligned practices.

The certificate is graduate-level with application requirements similar to the M.S.Ed. program. View requirements and application deadlines. Certificate applicants should have knowledge of or background in science of reading.
This program is eligible for the South Dakota Department of Education grant funding for South Dakota teachers.
