About the camp
This camp is designed for high school students entering grades 10–12 and introduces foundational concepts in cybersecurity, networking, and computer programming through hands-on learning. Campers participate in core sessions led by DSU faculty, alumni, current students, and industry professionals while exploring topics like digital forensics, cryptography, programming (C and Python), privacy, and cyber awareness. Afternoons include elective activities where students can choose areas of interest such as web development, protocol analysis, or cyber defense exercises.
No prior experience is required and all necessary technology is provided. Campers stay in DSU residence halls, offering a safe and supervised introduction to college life while building independence, responsibility, and friendships.
