Using Mobile ID on Your iPhone
The iPhone or Apple Watch must be powered on, but it does not have to be connected to a network. On an iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, double-clicking the Home button, tapping the default payment card and selecting the mobile Trojan Card are needed to enable usage. Then, authenticating with Touch ID and holding the top of iPhone 6 or 6 Plus near the contactless reader will complete a transaction.
For iPhones 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and later, Express Mode allows use of the mobile Trojan Card without unlocking the device with a passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID. Through iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR, Express Mode with power reserve makes the mobile Trojan Card available for up to five hours after the device’s battery needs to be charged.
- To display your Trojan Card Mobile ID, open Apple Wallet and select your Trojan Card from your saved cards.
- To add funds to your accounts in the Transact eAccounts app, first, save a payment method at the Transact eAccounts website at <URL for Transact eAccounts>.
- Make a deposit via your desktop or mobile browser.
- After completing the deposit, there will be an option to save your credit card information.
- Once you have added the card information on the Transact eAccounts website, that card will be available in the Transact eAccounts app for future deposits. If you have already used Transact eAccounts to access your Mobile ID, you must sign out and back in to update the saved payment information.

How to add your Trojan Card if you get a new iPhone or Watch
- If you had your Trojan Card previously on an iPhone and now have a new one you will need to remove your card from the old iPhone before setting up a new device. Please follow these steps for removing cards:
- On your new iPhone, navigate to Settings and then tap the very top selection (the section with your name) to go into your iCloud settings
- Scroll down to see your devices associated with your iCloud account and select your old iPhone
- Scroll down to see the Apple Pay section and you should see "Trojan Card". Tap "Remove Card". This will remove all your cards on your Wallet including your Trojan Card.
- Once the card is removed from your old iPhone, you can log into the eAccounts app on your new iPhone and follow the steps to add the card on your new phone.
- If you have a new Apple Watch, you can follow the same steps to remove the card from the old watch.
Hold the top back side of your device toward the reader. If you have an iPhone later than the 6 or 6 Plus, your card is set to Express Mode. This means you can simply tap your iPhone at a reader without a passcode, Touch ID, or Face ID. If you’re prompted for a passcode, tap the code to access your phone. Hold the top of your mobile device or the display of your Apple Watch within a few centimeters of the middle of the card reader until you feel a vibration. You'll see Done and a checkmark on the display. Please Note: If you’re using an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, double-click the Home button, then tap your default payment card and select your student ID. Rest your finger on Touch ID to authenticate and hold the top of the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus near the contactless reader.
Your mobile device must be turned on, but it doesn't have to be connected to a network. You don't need to validate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode, and you don't need to wake or unlock your device or open an app.
To display your Trojan Card, open Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Minimal setup is required to use your Mobile Trojan Card ID. Most users can begin using their Trojan Card on their phones in minutes. An approved photo is required.
