Biography
Lisa Hardie joined Dakota State University as a professional academic advisor for the College of Arts & Sciences in 2018, bringing with her over 15 years of teaching experience in public school systems. During her time in K-12 education, Lisa taught vocal and instrumental music as well as early elementary special education, developing a deeper commitment to personalized student support and creative learning strategies. This experience now informs her work in advising and teaching at DSU, where she specializes in first-year student success.
Outside of advising, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on DSU's athletic teams, especially Trojan baseball.
Lisa advises first-year students primarily for the College of Arts & Sciences in the following programs:
