Dakota State is welcoming 10 new faculty this fall, adding at least one new faculty member to each of the four undergraduate colleges.
“We are thrilled to have this group of new faculty join the Trojan family,” said Dr. Rebecca Hoey, provost and senior vice president for Academic & Student Affairs.
During DSU’s welcome week, in advance of the start of classes, new faculty participated in the new faculty orientation program which includes various activities, such as sessions from the Center for Teaching and Learning about teaching and using D2L, the learning management system used by Dakota State, and a lunch with Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic & Student Affairs Rebecca Hoey.
“They will teach and conduct research in specialty areas of high growth and need, ranging from quantum to AI and computer science to information systems, educational psychology, and civics,” Hoey said.
