Trojan Days

Join us October 5-10, 2026, for Trojan Days!
Homecoming traditions have been part of the Madison community since 1922, when the celebration was first known as Pioneer Day. What began more than a century ago continues today as one of the university’s most anticipated annual traditions. The 2026 Trojan Days Committee invites you to join us in celebrating this longstanding campus tradition!
Trojans Give Back
During Trojan Days, students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends give back through community service projects in Madison and in communities across the country. Participants also support current and future Trojans through a day of giving that benefits scholarships, departments, athletic teams, and student organizations.
Follow DSU’s social media throughout the day for updates on challenges, matches, and ways to participate.
Homecoming Day Parade
A longtime DSU tradition, the annual Homecoming Parade and Trojan Days celebration brings together students, faculty, alumni, families, and community members each fall. Join us on North Washington Avenue, 6th Street, or Egan on Saturday, October 10, 2026, to watch or take part in the parade before the big game.
Additional details and event times will be posted soon.
