Dave Link honored with LIVE award

Dave Link, program director in the DSU President’s Office, was honored for his exemplary leadership and support of the state’s biotech industry.

Link was presented with the LIVE Award at the South Dakota Biotech annual banquet on October 8 in Sioux Falls, for his “outstanding leadership, service, and dedication to South Dakota Biotech and furthering biotechnology to heal, fuel and feed a growing world.”

Link is a veteran health care leader who has spent his career driving innovation. For 20 years he was executive vice president of Sanford Health, helping create a foundation of strategic development and research that has positioned the health system as an international leader. His current work at Dakota State University is critical to creating a center of research, education, and ultimately economic development around cybersecurity.

“You have truly become a national advocate for our industry and have set a foundation for continued growth in our state,” the event program stated.
