Podhradsky keynote speaker at InfraGard

Dr. Ashley Podhradsky, assistant professor of information assurance and forensics at Dakota State University, was the keynote speaker at the quarterly InfraGard meeting in Sioux Falls, SD. Her presentation, Conducting Forensic Investigations in Digital Worlds: A Case Study of Investigating an FBI NIT and an Overview of Video Games and Crime, gave an overview of her research and work conducting forensic investigations.
The InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector. It is an association of persons who represent businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the U.S. Dr. Kevin Streff, Chair of the Cyber Operations and Network Security Program at DSU, was the first president of the SD chapter, and DSU adjunct instructor, Philip Egeberg, is the current president.
