Biography

Dr. Johnson teaches introductory and upper division Sociology courses, and is also an advisor for the Bachelor of General Studies students and teaches the GS 491 Capstone class for this major. Her teaching and research interests focus on gender, education, and lifelong learning. She also serves on the university Institutional Review Board for human subjects research and works with other faculty and staff on orientation events and activities for new freshman and transfer students.
