Biography
Kyle Korman is an Assistant Professor in The Beacom College of Computer & Cyber Sciences. His courses currently focus on cybersecurity topics such as intrusion detection, incident response, network monitoring, and systems and network administration. He recently started teaching another course about Operational Technology or (SCADA) systems that may be used in distribution of water, power, oil pipelines, etc. and industries like manufacturing. As a teacher, he aims to engage students by using realistic but approachable environments.
He also has a strong interest in Windows- and Linux-based environments. Outside of teaching, Korman has experience in both private and public industries in the areas of cybersecurity research, prototyping, and broad infrastructure administration.
