Mathematics Minor with 5-12 Endorsement
Share your love of numbers with your students by earning a mathematics minor with a 5-12 endorsement. Through courses in algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics you will be equipped to teach various math subjucts. You can also personalize your minor by choosing from a range of electives, such as differential equations, modern geometry, abstract algebra, and other specialized topics.
Admission requirements
An endorsement is a specialized qualification that can be added to a teaching license, which can authorize you to teach in a particular subject, grade level, or educational setting.
To receive the 5-12 endorsement, you must either:
- Be enrolled in one of DSU's education degree programs that lead to teaching licensure or
- Must already hold a valid primary teaching license.
