Biography
Lori is a retention specialist and an instructor in the College of Education & Human Performance. She advises and mentors undergraduate students through the required entrance exams into the education program and for full teaching licensure upon graduation. She teaches a literacy course which aligns to the SD Department of Education’s Science of Reading initiative.
Lori serves as an instrumental part of the Middle School Girls Cyber Camp. Nearly 100 girls come and stay on campus each summer to learn about cutting edge cyber concepts such as cryptography, AI, networking, soldering, and forensics.
Previously, she taught 6th grade and served as a K-3 reading coach.
