If you are a current or aspiring K–12 teacher, a health science endorsement will equip you to teach a wide range of health-related subjects. This program will prepare you to teach topics in medical terminology, human development, movement sciences, and emergency response.
This program also offers a unique digital experience, helping you develop skills in health informatics and data management. With this combination of healthcare and tech expertise, you’ll be ready to deliver a comprehensive health science education.
Admission requirements
An endorsement is a specialized qualification that can be added to a teaching license, which can authorize you to teach in a particular subject, grade level, or educational setting.
To receive the Health Science Endorsement, you must either:
- Be enrolled in one of DSU's education degree programs that lead to teaching licensure or
- Must already hold a valid primary teaching license.
