Health Science Endorsement

If you are a current or aspiring K–12 teacher, a health science endorsement will equip you to teach a wide range of health-related subjects. This program will prepare you to teach topics in medical terminology, human development, movement sciences, and emergency response.

Admission requirements

An endorsement is a specialized qualification that can be added to a teaching license, which can authorize you to teach in a particular subject, grade level, or educational setting.

To receive the Health Science Endorsement, you must either:

• Be enrolled in one of DSU's education degree programs that lead to teaching licensure or
• Must already hold a valid primary teaching license.
