Student Senate
The Student Senate at DSU is responsible for promoting the general welfare of the university and to serve as an organized medium for expressing student opinion on matters of general concern.
Student Senate serves on many committees around campus such as Parking Committee, Diversity Committee, Student Success Committee, and Athletics Committee.
Weekly meetings take place at 5:45 pm over Zoom and in the Alumni Room. They are open to the public and accessible via the weekly agendas.

Nathan Ord
Nathan Ord is the president of the Student Senate. He is a senior at DSU, studying Cyber Operations. Nathan is a member of the following committees: SRO Audit Committee, Funding Committee, Article 7 Committee, Constitution Revision Committee, CRC 2.0, GAF Committee, Parking Committee, and the Risk Management Committee.
Tyler Thomas
Tyler Thomas is the vice president of the Student Senate. He is a Senior at DSU, studying Cyber Operations and Network Security Administration. Tyler is a member of the following committees: Elections Committee, SRO Audit Committee, Funding Committee, Article 7 Committee, Constitution Revision Committee, CRC 2.0, GAF Committee, University Club Funding, and the Parking Committee.

Internal Committees
The committee shall handle all formal complaints brought to the committee. The committee shall be required to handle the impeachment process.
The committee will review and make recommendations over bylaws and Constitution Revision. Called upon when a Constitutional or Bylaw amendment is brought to the Senate.
The committee shall enforce all election regulations. The committee shall handle all debate, challenges, and petition questions, as well as other election disputes. The committee shall review all ballots and declare winners.
This committee will assist and support the Public Relations chair with organizing and planning events.
The committee will audit SROs to make sure they are following Bylaw 13.3.2 The committee will review and maintain a list grievances against SROs.
