You have completed your Graduate Mathematics Certificate, and now it is time to finish your credentials and take your skills to the ultimate level. Our Advanced Graduate Mathematics Certificate is designed to deepen your understanding of essential mathematical areas and prepare you for advanced academic and professional opportunities such as the eligibilty to teach dual credit courses.
Through nine credits along with the nine from the graduate certificate program in mathematics, you will finish your mastery in abstract algebra, number theory, cryptography, and advanced geometry. Through this program you will refine your ability to interpret, analyze, and present complex mathematical arguments to professors and classmates.
Designed for working educators
This certificate is intended for mathematics instructors who:
- Hold a master’s degree or are currently enrolled in a master’s program, and
- have already completed the graduate math certificate.
Upon completion, you will be qualified to teach dual credit mathematics courses or serve as a college or university instructor, meeting the requirements set by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
