Artificial Intelligence in Organizations (BS)

The future of business

Starting in the fall of 2021, students will learn to understand what artificial intelligence is, what AI means for businesses and organizations, and develop skills for applying artificial intelligence tools and methods in a variety of industries. With these skills, they will be prepared to help make data-driven decisions in their companies, optimize business processes and workflows, minimize costs, and maximize revenues by utilizing AI tools and applications. They will also be able to successfully navigate AI-related issues, challenges, and ethics in workplaces and to be AI-aware in society.

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the BS degree in Artificial Intelligence in Organizations, students will:

  • Learn the basic concepts, methods, and tools of AI and understand the impact of AI and Data on businesses, organizations, and society
  • Understand business and management principles and objectives and be able to analyze a complex business/organizational problem and to apply principles of AI to identify solutions.
  • Develop strong soft skills including communications, teamwork, and leadership to be successful in AI-enhanced workplace and society.
  • Design, implement and evaluate an AI-based solution to meet a given set of requirements in an organizational context.
  • Be able to participate, organize, and manage successful AI projects.
  • Develop entrepreneurship skills to start AI-related new businesses.
