DSU's individualized studies major gives students an opportunity to design a path of study that fits their individual academic goals. The student-focused curriculum lets students pursue career and professional goals outside a discipline-specific major.  The degree is for new, returning, or adult students seeking a bachelor’s degree that fits their unique interests.

Online or on-campus degree

The individualized studies bachelor’s program is offered 100% online or on campus. Whether you are a traditional student or a working professional, this flexible program allows you to complete your degree how it works best for you, remote, in-person, or hybrid, and as a full-time or part-time student.

Personalize your learning

Whether you are a new freshman with diverse academic interests and career aspirations, or an adult learner with prior college credit and life experiences, the individualized studies major may be what you have been looking for to achieve your school, work, and life goals.
