Timelines & Requirements
Admission requirements
We admit Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) students in the fall, spring, and summer. Before you apply, you must have:
- A baccalaureate degree from an institution with full regional accreditation for that degree
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
- Transcripts that show completion of courses in key areas such as programming principles, database design and programming (including familiarity with SQL), and statistical principles
If you don’t fully meet these requirements, you might be required to take additional foundational courses to cover any gaps.
If you’re an international student, you must have a bachelor’s degree that is equivalent to a four-year undergraduate degree in the U.S.
International students that have graduated from a U.S. institution with full regional accreditation will NOT be required to take the GRE.
For other students, we require that you show satisfactory GRE scores on a test taken within the last five years. The GRE requirement can be waived for applicants with a cumulative grade point average greater than 3.25 or other waiver criteria as listed in the general admission requirements.
