South Dakota State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SD-SARA)
Dakota State University is an approved SARA institution (State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement). Through SARA Dakota State is authorized to provide online education and educational activities in all SARA member locations – 49 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. SARA is intended to make it easier for students to take online courses offered by postsecondary institutions based in another state. SARA provides standard expectations for institutional conduct and ensuring consumer protection.
