Dakota State University students walking around campus

Preparation + opportunity = success

That's the DSU equation. We're a four-year university with nationally recognized programs, cutting-edge facilities, and the brightest thinkers. But we're also a tight-knit, inclusive community. Small class sizes mean hands-on training and individualized attention. All this with an affordable, public school price that's among the best values in the region.

Welcome Week

August 19-23, 2024

Welcome to the 2024-25 academic year! Welcome Week includes time to celebrate the previous year including accomplishments and promotions, and to look ahead toward the new academic year.

In addition to welcoming all faculty back, new faculty will participate in new faculty orientation.  Orientation will focus on engaging new faculty in collaborative experiences with information to support both faculty and student success at DSU. The hope is that you complete the week equipped with tools, resources, new relationships and supports, and with a greater feeling of belonging to the Trojan community.
