Trojan Pantry
The Trojan Pantry is a free, on-campus food pantry- that provides DSU students with food and personal care items.
Two Locations
Trojan Zone and Learning Engagement Center
Check-in at the Welcome Desk outside the Trojan Zone or check in at the Counseling Center to access either location.
Hours
Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
These hours apply to both locations.

How it works
Bring Your Student ID
Make sure to have your current student ID with you when you visit.
Reusable Bag
It's encouraged to bring your own reusable bag, but if you don’t have one, the pantry will provide one for you.
Limited Items
You can shop from the shelves, but there will be a limit to how many items you can take.
Scan Your Student ID
After you're done shopping, you'll need to scan your student ID to complete the process.
Once a Week
Students can only visit the pantry once a week, so be sure to plan your trip accordingly!
Donations
Please make sure when you are donating items please make sure they are unexpired, unopened in original store packaging and clean. All expired items will be immediately discarded.
What to Donate
We recommend:
- Canned soups or bagged soup mixes
- Pasta and pasta sauces
- Bread, rice, and out grains
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Dried fruit
- Cereal and oatmeal
- Canned chicken and canned tuna
- Peanut butter and jelly
- Condiments
- Pre-packaged snack items
- Cake, brownie, and pancake mixes
- Baking items or seasoning/spices
- Personal care items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, tampons, pads, shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc.)
Where to donate
Main drop off location for donations will be in the Counseling Center in the Learning Engagement Center Room 041, open Monday- Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
