Every year, the office of Career and Professional Development collects survey information from Dakota State University's new graduates about where the current phase of their career journey has taken them.

Dakota State University Trojans rise up to meet a challenge. As you will see, DSU Trojans stepped up, as resilient and successful as ever. Read on for a look at the outcomes of the Class of 2023 – a class that is ready to contribute to local, national, and global prosperity. The Class of 2023 Outcomes Report includes graduates from both associate and bachelor’s degree programs who were awarded degrees in August and December of 2022 and May of 2023.

  • 99.15%: Placement Rate
    (full or part time employment, voluntary service, military service, or continuing education)
  • 87.25%: Knowledge Rate
    (% of graduates that respond to the survey)
  • 82.88%: Employed
  • 14.20%: Continuing Education
  • 2.09%: Not Seeking Employment
